The total index for cereals and pulses was 100.3 in January and reached 104.95 by May

Period and application

Indicators are calculated based on monthly price snapshots by product type. The information is relevant for analyzing industrial raw material costs and procurement planning. Data is updated as new Rosstat statistical reports for the current year are released

How it is calculated

The figures are useful for price revisions, disputes with suppliers regarding indexation, and calculating real rather than nominal sales dynamics

Rosstat stipulates: 1 Excluding statistical information for the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions
