Structure of household consumer expenditure by goods for CPI calculation

To calculate the consumer price index, Rosstat annually determines the weight of each good and service in the consumer basket. Each of the 6,831 rows contains a specific product or service, for example, sausages and wieners, with its share of expenditure. These weights are revised every year and reflect changes in Russian consumer preferences from 2004 to 2026
