The amount of protein, fat, and carbohydrates in human diets can be determined from sample household budget surveys. The table rows specify key nutrients, including animal proteins, to allow for nutritional structure assessment. The data covers 2012–2024 and shows nutrient content in products actually consumed during this period

Comparing values across columns shows how the composition of consumed products changed over twelve years, highlighting which nutrients predominated in the diet in different years based on the survey results

What is visible in these numbers

Period and application

Statistics are based on sample household budget surveys and are relevant for analyzing population nutritional quality. The data is published for use in dietetics, demography, and consumption economics research. Data for 2012–2024 helps assess trends in dietary habits and nutritional structure in the country

How it is calculated

Rosstat specifies: 1 Starting from 2015, data include information for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. 2 Indicators for 2022-2024 exclude statistical information for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions
