Average producer prices for industrial goods (services) in the Russian Federation, 2017–2020 (for goods intended for sale on the domestic market)
In 2017, the average price for coniferous sawn softwood timber measured in cubic metres was 1788 units. By 2020, the indicator had risen to 2164. The table covers 1,042 rows, including groups such as coniferous roundwood for sawing and planing, as well as materials for pulp production. Data are grouped by region and reflect the dynamics of prices for goods intended for the domestic market over four years. This breakdown allows the observation of price changes across different product groups and regions where changes were particularly noticeable

How to read this table
The table rows vary by type of industrial goods, their purpose, and production regions. The top positions in the list are occupied by timber, and the table includes prices for hundreds of raw material and finished product groups. Comparisons can be made both in the dynamics of prices for the same group across different years and in the differences between prices for different groups in a single year
What is visible in these numbers
Top five values: Yarn (except sewing threads) from artificial... (3 million), Gold-bearing ores, kg / 07.29.14.121 (2.4 million), Salmon roe, t / 10.20.26.112 (2.2 million), Gold-bearing concentrates, kg / 07.29.14.1… (2.2 million), Feed antibiotics, t / 10.91.10.160 (1.7 million). The gap between the highest and lowest is 748 000 times. The top five account for 20.3% of the total across all items
Annual observations, the dataset contains 4 observation periods. The table includes 1 697 values out of 2 000 possible, which is 84.9%. Individual gaps occur: not all items were observed in all periods

Period and application
Rosstat publishes these data annually, updating them as statistical reports are processed. The table is suitable for analysts, economists, and entrepreneurs working with raw material, metal, chemical, and timber product markets. It enables tracking price fluctuations for key commodity groups and making informed procurement or investment decisions
How it is calculated
The figures are useful when revising price lists, disputing supplier indexation, and calculating real rather than nominal sales dynamics
