Share of food expenditure by decile groups of population
The portion of household consumer expenditure allocated to food can be estimated by the distribution of spending across population decile groups for 2024. Table rows vary by category composition: they include the total share of food expenditures as well as specific spending on bread and potatoes. Data is presented as a cross-section of ten groups, from the first to the tenth, allowing for a comparison of household budgets across different income levels
