Construction companies purchase paper and paper products every month, and price indices for these goods are used to analyze procurement costs. The table rows list 106 items from natural sands to crushed stone, but paper and paper products are grouped separately. Price indices are provided monthly from January to December, allowing price changes to be tracked throughout the year. Rosstat publishes the data in the Prices, Inflation section and covers the entire territory of the country

To analyze the price dynamics of a specific product, refer to its values across the columns from January to December. For example, in the row Natural sands 08.12.11, the index decreased from 113.84 in January to 108.65 in December

How it is calculated

Such series are used to recalculate long-term contracts, adjust revenue from previous years to current value, and check whether the selling price exceeds the general price increase
