Each row represents a specific material, and the columns show price changes from January to December. Indices are based on December of the previous year; values above 100 indicate a price increase

How to read this table

The dynamics of different construction materials can be compared directly: for example, the index for natural sands rose from 100.24 in January to 108.65 in December, while changes for crushed stone and gravel may vary. The table allows for monthly tracking of price changes for a single material or a comparison of changes across different items within the same month

Period and application

Rosstat publishes data for the Russian Federation. Updates are released annually. These indicators are useful for construction companies analyzing procurement prices, procurement officers planning supplies, and analysts preparing reports on the construction materials market

How it is calculated

Such rows are used to recalculate long-term contracts, adjust revenue from previous years to current value, and check whether the selling price exceeds the general price increase
