Average prices for basic construction materials in Russia

· dynamics annual · rows: 103 · periods: 8 · section: Prices, inflation

More than one hundred construction materials, parts, and structures are presented in this list, specifying the average annual procurement cost by construction organizations in Russia for the period from 2018 to 2025. Each of the 103 rows describes an individual item, allowing for the tracking of procurement price changes over time. For example, the cost of a cubic meter of gravel rose from 1171 rubles in 2018 to 2272.36 rubles in 2025. These indicators help construction companies analyze primary resource costs and incorporate them into federal-level project budget planning

How to read this table

Differences between rows consist of the specific construction material name, its unit of measurement, and its classification code. It is recommended to compare values both within a single row to observe price dynamics for a specific item over eight years, and between different materials within a single year. This allows for assessing which items in the procurement structure of construction organizations show the most significant price fluctuations and which remain relatively stable throughout the period under review

What is visible in these numbers

The five highest values: Diesel fuel, t / 19.20.21.300 / 44445 (88 978), Motor gasoline, t / 19.20.21.100 / 46990 (80 246), Power transmission supports, communication and contact network elements e… (40 657), Petroleum bitumen, t / 19.20.42.120 / 17352 (35 338), Reinforced concrete external wall panels, m3 /… (30 375). The gap between the highest and lowest is 144.7 times. The top five account for 55.5% of the total across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top

Observations are annual and cover 8 periods. Cells with numbers: 200 out of 200 (100%), i.e., the table is almost completely filled

Period and application

Data is updated annually as reporting is received from the country's construction organizations. Information for 2018–2025 will be useful for analysts, cost estimators, procurement specialists, and anyone studying the market conditions of construction resources in Russia. The information is provided by Rosstat to monitor price trends in the construction industry and assess inflationary processes

How it is calculated

The figures are useful when revising price lists, disputing with a supplier over indexation, and calculating real, rather than nominal, sales dynamics
