Each index in the table shows how prices for machinery and equipment purchased by the food industry have changed since the base period up to December. The rows correspond to 368 types of activity under OKVED2, where the first row is the general section of crop and livestock production, and the following rows break it down into narrower industries, such as annual crop cultivation. This allows comparison of price changes in machinery across industries

Period and application

Price indices for equipment used in the food industry are provided for December. These Rosstat data are useful for analysts, investors, and equipment manufacturers to assess costs for updating equipment fleets across industries. The statistics allow tracking price dynamics across 368 types of economic activity, enabling detailed analysis of the industrial equipment market and budget planning for fixed asset procurement in food production

How it is calculated

The figures will be useful for price list revisions, disputes with suppliers regarding indexation, and calculating real rather than nominal sales dynamics

Note in the source: Excluding statistical information for the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Data are calculated without taking into account the influence of the exchange rate on the purchase prices of imported machinery and equipment for investment purposes
