The percentage share of various unemployed groups within the structure of those registered with the employment service is presented for the period 2010–2022. The list contains fourteen rows, including the total and groups by reason for dismissal, such as voluntary resignations or layoffs. Indicators are expressed as a percentage of the total for each year, so the sum of the rows always equals one hundred percent

How to read this table

The table rows allow for comparing the shares of different categories within the total unemployed population. One can track the change in the proportion of voluntary resignations relative to layoffs over twelve years. As the data is presented in relative terms, it is suitable for analyzing the internal structure of the labor market without reference to absolute population figures

What is visible in these numbers

The largest value belongs to “Number of registered unemployed — total” — 100 in percentage; the smallest is “Number of registered unemployed — 16–17” at 0.3 in percentage. The gap between them is 333-fold.

The figures are index or percentage values, so they cannot be added up across rows: each one is measured against its own base.
