How to read this table

The rows are categorized by age criteria, showing the proportion of the population within specific generations. The share of the youngest citizens can be compared with the share of adults and older age groups. As figures are calculated as a percentage of the total population, the sum of all groups for any given year is always 100 percent

What is visible in these numbers

Statistics are published annually and cover the period from 2010 to 2022. Data on age groups are useful for demographers, sociologists, economists, and specialists involved in planning social infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and other public institutions
