In specialized stores in Russia, fur products for January-March 2023 were sold for 17186228.1 thousand rubles, and the table shows the breakdown by region. For all federal districts and regions, actual amounts in thousands of rubles and the volume index for the year in percent to the same period of the previous year in constant prices are provided. The rows allow for comparing regions and observing changes in demand for fur products during the first months of 2023

Period and application
The 2023 statistical collection includes data on 96 items, ranging from the total for the Russian Federation to data for individual regions. This information is useful for fur industry representatives, retail market analysts, and executive authorities assessing consumer activity in the country's constituent entities. New figures are released in Rosstat's annual industry publications, which provide indicators on the dynamics and structure of fur product sales
How it is calculated
Per capita turnover indicates where the consumer is solvent and whether it is worth opening a point of sale, and where the market is already saturated
