How to read this table

Comparing rows allows for assessing how the market position of CRT televisions differs on a national scale from the situation in individual districts or constituent entities. For example, the national average for Russia can be compared with data for the Smolensk Region to understand regional specifics. Since all values are expressed as a percentage of the group volume, changes in the figures directly indicate changes in the share of a specific product within the consumer basket

What is visible in these numbers

Five highest values: Jewish Autonomous Oblast (4.95), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (2.29), Omsk Oblast (0.82), Kostroma Oblast (0.31), Ivanovo Oblast (0.29). Gap between highest and lowest — 82.5 times. The top five account for 72.4% of the total across all positions — distribution heavily skewed toward the top

Observations are annual and cover 4 periods. Cells with numbers: 67 out of 100 (67%). Gaps are numerous: a significant share of positions were observed only in certain periods, and such rows should be compared with caution
