Infant homes in Russia, 2015–2024
From 2015 to 2024, changes occurred in the number of child institutions in the country. The statistics show the total number of children's homes at year-end, as well as the total number of children residing in them. These data allow for an assessment of the scale of such organizations over a ten-year period. Table rows are categorized by indicator type: total number of institutions, total number of children, and the number of infants aged 0 to 12 months

What is visible in these numbers
The largest value belongs to “Children admitted during the year — admitted from parents” — 5,366; the smallest is “Number of children's homes (at end of year)” at 30. The gap between them is 179-fold.
The table is 96% filled: Rosstat does not publish every cell, and the gaps are left as they are rather than interpolated.
