From 2010 to 2022 the employment service offices recorded varying numbers of unemployed each year. The series shows the total number of people registered and groups by reason: those who quit voluntarily and workers released from jobs. The indicator is measured in thousands of persons, covering the whole country and reflecting annual dynamics over twelve years

How to read this table

Table rows allow comparison of the total unemployed mass with specific categories of people on the list. One can track how the number of voluntary quitters changed relative to the total registered. This helps understand the structure of unemployment, separating all labour‑market participants into those who left work voluntarily and those officially released

What is visible in these numbers

“Number of registered unemployed — total” leads the table with 564 thousand persons, “Number of registered unemployed — 16–17” closes it with 1.5 thousand persons. The gap between them is 376-fold.
