How to read this table

Rows differ by type of transport accounting and units of measurement; therefore, indicators should be compared within a single category or to assess the contribution of individual transport modes to total freight turnover. The first row shows the total weight of freight, the second highlights the share of commercial freight in millions of tonnes, and the third records freight turnover in billions of tonne-kilometres. This helps to identify which mode of transport provides the main volume of goods movement across the territory of Russia during the reporting period
