How to read this table
The rows allow for comparison of the availability of different types of equipment in the construction sector. For example, the number of self-propelled single-bucket excavators was 10.2 in 2018 and reached 23.1 by 2025. The variety of items presented allows for tracking which specific mechanisms predominate in the fleets of construction organizations in different years
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Hydraulic excavators (single-bucket) — including foreign-made (80.7), Self-propelled scrapers — Share of machines with … (80.4), Self-propelled scrapers — including foreign-made … (72.6), Bulldozers, including angle dozers … (63.1), Crawler cranes — including foreign-made … (55.8). Gap between highest and lowest — 201.8 times. The top five account for 43.2% of the total across all items
Annual observations, 8 periods in the dataset. Of 168 possible values, 168 are filled (100%); data gaps are virtually absent

Period and application
The information is relevant for analyzing the technical equipment of the construction industry. Data is collected annually and reflects the state of the machine fleet at the end of the year. The information will be useful for procurement planning specialists, construction company executives, and special equipment market analysts
How it is calculated
Housing construction drives demand for finishing materials, furniture and household appliances with a lag of one and a half years, and this demand can be forecast in advance using these series
