Residential housing completion volumes in each region of the country for the period from January to May 2025 are measured in thousands of square meters of total floor area. The rows are categorized by constituent entities of the Russian Federation, with separate indicators for certain regions: total completion volume and volume completed by the population. This allows for comparing overall developer activity with the share of the private sector. The series covers data for 2025 and 2026
Chart of residential housing construction by constituent entities of the Russian Federation for January–May 2025, thousand sq. m
Rosstat data for 2025–2026. Rows: 196, periods: 2. Measurement unit — thousand square metres of total residential area. Breakdown: Altai Krai — Introduced, thousand sq m of total residential area; Altai Krai — Of the total volume — introduced by the population, thousand; Amur Oblast — Introduced, thousand sq m of total residential area; Amur Oblast — Of the total volume — introduced by the population, thousand; Arkhangelsk Oblast (excluding Nenets Autonomous Okrug) — Introduced, thousand sq m and others

Differences between rows allow for assessing the structure of housing construction in a specific constituent entity. If two rows are provided for a region, the general housing completion rate can be compared with the amount of floor space completed directly by the population. This data helps determine the market share of individual housing construction versus multi-family apartment buildings. All values are expressed in thousands of square meters of total residential floor area
