1) В отдельных странах сумма слагаемых менее 100%, поскольку по некоторым жилым помещениям число комнат неизвестно.
2) В связи с отсутствием нормативно-правового акта, устанавливающего порядок государственного учета жилищного фонда в Российской Федерации, в том числе его государственного технического учета (включая техническую инвентаризацию), официальная статистическая информация о жилищном фонде за 2021, 2022 гг. сформирована не по полному кругу единиц учета.

4) Распределение жилищного фонда по числу комнат дано без учета квартир, принадлежащих предприятиям-банкротам и предприятиям, которые прекратили свою деятельность.
