Labour force participation and unemployment among persons with disabilities
In 2022, the share of persons with disabilities aged 15 and over engaged in economic activity was estimated using labor force participation, employment, and unemployment indicators. Table rows are divided by disability group, including the first and second groups, as well as a total row for all categories. Data were obtained through a sample labor force survey and reflect the situation as a percentage of the total population of the respective category

How to read this table
Differences between rows allow for comparison of activity levels among persons with varying degrees of health limitations. One can observe how the percentage of employed and unemployed persons changes when moving from the first group to the second or on average for all persons with disabilities. These indicators provide insight into labor market accessibility for different categories of citizens within a single reporting year

Period and application
The data is current for 2022 and was collected based on a sample survey. The information in percent will be useful to sociologists, social protection specialists, and HR professionals for assessing the labor market involvement of persons with disabilities
