Comparing age segments is facilitated by the use of proportions. The table rows show specific age periods, illustrating the share of labor resources represented by the youngest workers versus the older generation. These percentages allow for tracking changes in the composition of the country's labor force over a six-year period

What is visible in these numbers

Five highest values: Total employed (100), Employed males (100), Males aged 30–34 (15.9), Males aged 25–29 (15.4), Employed aged 30–34 (15.3). The gap between the highest and lowest is 200 times. The top five account for 59.5% of the total across all categories — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top

Period and application

The statistics are based on the results of the Labor Force Survey. Data are updated annually and cover the period from 2017 to 2022. This information is useful for demographers, sociologists, and labor market specialists analyzing the age structure of employment
