From 2010 to 2021, the Russian economy directed outward direct investment to foreign countries, as reflected in these balance of payments statistics. The indicator is measured in millions of US dollars, and the table rows are categorized by recipient countries, including Austria, Andorra, and over one hundred other states. These data allow for tracking changes in investment volumes in each specific direction over twelve years, comparing figures between countries or observing the dynamics of an individual state

How to read this table
The table rows comprise a list of countries receiving Russian investment, including a total row for all destinations. Users can compare both the total annual investment volume and the shares of individual countries within the investment structure, allowing for an assessment of the geographical distribution of financial flows. The series contain data from 2010 to 2021, providing the opportunity to compare investor activity across different economic zones over a long period of time
What is visible in these numbers
Top five values: Total (65 883), Cyprus (47 078), Netherlands (7 035), Luxembourg (2 483), Jersey (2 293). The gap between the highest and lowest is 21 961 times. The top five account for 92.8% of the total across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
