The series vary in geographic coverage, allowing for comparisons of the business climate across different countries and tracking assessment dynamics in each individually. The indicators are presented as assessment balances in percent, calculated as the difference between the shares of respondents who rated the economic situation as positive and negative

Table rows are grouped by country, allowing for the observation of indicator changes in 2010, when the value for Russia was -14, and in 2023, when it reached -13. Country names in the row labels help quickly locate a specific jurisdiction and compare its results with Russian business confidence indicators for each year

Period and application
The statistical series covers the period from 2010 to 2023, providing data for analyzing long-term trends in the construction sector. Information is updated by Rosstat as regular surveys are conducted and collections are published. The data is useful for economists, analysts, and researchers studying business activity in construction in an international context and changes in business market expectations over the last thirteen years
How it is calculated
Noted in the source itself: For all countries except Russia, results of monthly surveys are presented; for Russia — quarterly surveys in construction: (s.a.) = seasonal component excluded, ... = information missing. Sources…. The indicator is calculated as the arithmetic mean of balance estimates (in per cent) of the actual level of the order book portfolio (demand for Russia) and the expected change in employment

3) Баланс оценок показателя (в процентах) – разность долей респондентов, отметивших «увеличение» и «уменьшение» показателя по сравнению с предыдущим периодом или уровень показателя «выше нормального» и «ниже нормального».
