Results of retail trade surveys: balance of assessments
The eight-point difference between business confidence estimates in Russian retail in 2010 and 2023 is clearly reflected in these series. The indicator is measured as a balance of estimates in percent and covers annual data for fourteen years. Rows are grouped by country, including Russia, Austria, Belarus, and Belgium, allowing for the comparison of business sentiment in the retail sector across different countries over a long period of time

The seventy-five rows of the table combine indicators for Russia and several European countries, presented in alphabetical order from Austria to Belgium. It is possible to compare both annual dynamics within a single country and differences in values between countries for a specific period. All data are expressed in percent, making the business confidence indicator a universal tool for assessing the retail sector regardless of the size of a specific country's economy

Statistics are updated annually and reflect the results of business climate surveys in retail for the period from 2010 to 2023. The information is useful for economic researchers, retail chain analysts, and specialists studying international trends in business sentiment. The data are provided by Rosstat and allow for tracking changes in business confidence amid changing market conditions over a cycle of more than ten years

3)Баланс оценок показателя (в процентах) – разность долей респондентов, отметивших «увеличение» и «уменьшение» показателя по сравнению с предыдущим периодом или уровень показателя «выше нормального» и «ниже нормального».
