How to read this table
The table rows represent individual countries, such as Austria, Belgium, or Hungary, allowing for the tracking of individual economic development trajectories. Comparing these series reveals periods when certain countries outperformed others in growth rates. Percentage changes illustrate the extent of productivity fluctuations within each of the thirty-one presented rows
What is visible in these numbers
The five highest values: Ireland (20.9), Belgium (9.5), Latvia (7.9), Israel (7.6), Slovakia (7.1). The gap between the highest and lowest is 14.9 times. The top five account for 42.1% of the total across all items
Observations are annual, with 8 observation periods in the set. There are 200 values in the table out of 200 possible, which is 100%, meaning the table is almost completely filled
The same indicator for other periods
These series cannot be stitched together Over the common period 2010 values diverge — Rosstat recalculated the indicator using a revised methodology. They cannot be combined into a single chart: a break would appear at the junction, which did not actually occur

Period and application
Statistics are published annually in the Russia and Countries of the World yearbook and are current as of 2024. The information covers the period from 2010 to 2023 and is intended for economists, global market researchers, and students. The data enables the analysis of global production efficiency trends without the need to search for separate reports for each country
How it is calculated
Source notes: For foreign countries — changes in GDP indicators at constant prices per hour worked (OECD estimates); for Russia — the ratio of the volume indices of GDP to the change in total hours worked..
1) По зарубежным странам – изменение показателей ВВП в постоянных ценах в расчете на один час отработанного времени (оценки ОЭСР), по России – частное от деления индексов физического объема ВВП на изменение совокупных затрат труда.
