How to read this table
The table rows are grouped by territory, starting with the total for the Russian Federation and ending with data for individual regions and districts. It is possible to compare both the indicators of a single region across different years and the level of livestock development in different constituent entities for the same time period. This structure helps identify which parts of the country see the greatest contribution from urban household farms to the total livestock population and to assess territorial differences in this agricultural sector
What is visible in these numbers
Five largest values: Russian Federation — Sheep and goats (363.3), Russian Federation — Cattle (271.6), Russian Federation — Pigs (134.1), Russian Federation — including cows (129.5), Central Federal District — Sheep and goats (41.2). Gap between the largest and smallest — by 1,863 times. The top five account for 92.6% of the total across all items — distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
Observations are annual, the dataset contains 2 periods. Of 50 possible values, 50 are filled (100%); data gaps are virtually absent
