Harvested areas of fruit plantations and berry bushes across all farm categories are presented here by region, federal district, and the country as a whole. In 94 rows, indicators for each constituent entity can be found and compared with the national total. Data are grouped by crop types, including pome and stone fruits, as well as by the share of harvested area as a percentage of the area in fruiting age. The statistics provide an accurate picture of the current state of horticulture in the country without being tied to specific years

Table rows vary in geographic coverage, ranging from data for the entire Russian Federation to individual constituent entities, such as the Republic of Adygea. Columns show two types of measurements, allowing for the analysis of both the physical volume of harvested areas in thousands of hectares and harvest efficiency through the percentage of the total fruiting area. Comparing these indicators between districts clearly demonstrates differences in the scale of fruit and berry production in different parts of the country

Period and application
The statistical bulletin records current indicators relevant to agricultural sector specialists, analysts, and government officials. The frequency of data updates depends on the release schedule of Rosstat's sectoral agricultural reports. The information is useful for those studying the regional specialization of horticulture and the efficiency of land resource use for fruit plantations
How it is calculated
Data on sowings, yields, and livestock are used for planning raw material procurement, crop estimation, and food price forecasting
