How to read this table

The list presents three rows, allowing for a comparison of the national total with the indicators for the Central and Northwestern Federal Districts. By comparing these series, one can see the share of specific districts in the total volume of developments in Russia. Annual data allows for tracking the development dynamics of the technology sector across different parts of the country

What is visible in these numbers

The five largest values: Russian Federation (2 454), Central Federal District (1 043), Moscow (703), Volga Federal District (441), Northwestern Federal District (426). The gap between the largest and the smallest is 490.8 times. The top five account for 75% of the sum across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top

Observations are annual and cover 14 periods. Cells with numbers: 142 out of 350 (40.6%). Data are sparse — for many items, observations were not conducted for the entire period, and aggregate totals for them should not be calculated
