How to read this table

A comparison of row data shows differences between the total indicator and specific modes of transport. When analyzing the figures, attention should be paid to the contribution of each transport type to the final result. Using this information helps to understand how the load is distributed across the transport system and which specific modes of transport provide the bulk of passenger traffic in different years of the reporting period when planning logistics

What is visible in these numbers

Five highest values: Russian Federation (140.6 million), Central Federal District (35.3 million), Moscow Region (12 million), Voronezh Region (4.2 million), Belgorod Region (1.5 million). The gap between the maximum and minimum is 1.6 billion times. The top five account for 94.4% of the total across all positions — the distribution is heavily skewed towards the top

Observations are annual and cover 16 periods. Cells with numbers are 400 out of 400 (100%) — almost no empty cells remain
