From 2010 to 2023, the number of housing units commissioned can be tracked using the annual indicators presented in the columns. The rows in the table are categorized by geography, showing data for Russia and selected CIS countries, such as Azerbaijan and Armenia. The differences between the rows allow for a comparison of housing construction rates on a national scale and within individual CIS republics. One can observe how Russia's figures relate to the volumes for Azerbaijan or Armenia over the same calendar period. The analysis uses a yearly breakdown, where each column corresponds to a specific year from 2010 to 2023

Statistics are collected to monitor housing stock and housing completion volumes. Data are updated as part of the annual Rosstat statistical yearbook. The information is useful for builders, developers, and real estate market researchers to study regional characteristics and year-on-year changes
