There were thirty-eight thousand two hundred sixty-five thousand fixed-line internet subscribers in 2024, whereas in 2011 there were eighteen thousand four. The indicators cover the period from 2011 to 2024 and are broken down by connection type, including broadband access. Comparing these data allows one to see the rate of telecommunications technology deployment in the country over fourteen years, based on annual statistics collected by Rosstat for its annual report
