The differences between rows are based on the students' country of origin within the CIS, as well as the total figure for all these states combined. By comparing the data, one can track how the number of students from each country changed over twenty-five academic years. For example, the total figure grew from 34.4 thousand people in 2000/2001 to 162.4 thousand people in 2024/2025, clearly demonstrating the changing scale of educational migration within higher education programs
