Passenger transportation by mode of public transport, 2000–2023
From 2000 to 2023, volumes of passenger movement across the country varied by transport mode. The list presents aggregate indicators for all modes of transport, as well as separate figures for rail and bus transport. These data show the distribution of load across different transport systems over twenty-three years. The information is sourced from the Rosstat yearbook and covers all modes of public transport in Russia

Statistics are published as part of the yearbook and cover the period from 2000 to 2023. Data is updated annually. The information is useful for logisticians, transport industry specialists, and those studying population mobility and infrastructure development in Russia
