Capacity utilization rate of average annual production capacity, 2022–2024
The degree of utilization in manufacturing and mining enterprises across various industries can be assessed by their average annual capacity utilization rate. The list includes various product types, ranging from hard and brown coal to natural sands, enabling comparisons of capacity utilization across different economic sectors. The statistics cover the period from 2022 to 2024 and exclude small enterprises

Set in numbers
Rosstat data for 2022–2024. Series: 72, period: 3. Breakdown by items: Hard and brown coal — value; Natural sands — value; Stone granules, chips and powder — value; Beef, pork, mutton, goat meat,…; Food meat and edible offal of poultry — value and others
White beet sugar in solid state without flavouring and aromatic additives…: indicator decreased from 93.1 to 87.4 for 2022–2024 — by 6.12%. Out of 25 largest series, 14 increased, 11 decreased
All table numbers are series: 72
How to read this table
Table rows are categorized by specific product types, highlighting efficiency gaps between the mining and manufacturing sectors. By comparing different rows, it is possible to identify industries operating at full capacity versus those with excess capacity. The columns show three-year trends to track changes in capacity utilization for each product category
What is visible in these numbers
Five largest values: White beet sugar in solid state… (93.1), Hard and brown coal — value (79.6), Food meat and edible offal of poultry — value (77.6), Beef, pork, mutton, goat… (75.9), Vegetable oils and their unrefined fractions… (75.3). The top five account for 27.5% of the total for all items
Annual observations, 3 periods in the dataset. Out of 75 possible values, 75 (100%) are filled — practically no gaps
The same indicator for other periods
These series cannot be stitched together Over the common period 2022 values diverge — Rosstat recalculated the indicator using a revised methodology. They cannot be combined into a single chart: a break would appear at the junction, which did not actually occur

Period and application
The 2025 Russian Statistical Yearbook contains this data for major industrial groups, excluding small businesses. Published by Rosstat, this information is intended for production planners, industrial sector analysts, and economists studying the nation's industrial capacity
How it is calculated
Source notes: Until 2023 — Condensed milk products. Until 2021 — Natural drinking mineral waters and drinking waters packaged in containers without added sugar or other sweetening or flavouring substances
1) До 2023 г. – Продукты молочные сгущенные.
2) До 2021 г. – Воды минеральные природные питьевые и воды питьевые, расфасованные в емкости, не содержащие добавки сахара или других подслащивающих или вкусоароматических веществ.
1) Before 2023 - Condensed milk products.
2) Before 2021 – packaged natural mineral and drinking waters which do not contain sugar or sweeteners or another flavouring substances.
