Gross fixed capital formation in Russia, yearbook data
The volume of fixed capital investment in Russia for the period from 1946 to 2024 is collected in this dataset. Rows are divided into five-year periods and individual years, allowing for tracking the development of capital investment at different stages of the country's history. Columns show two values: absolute values in millions or billions of rubles at current prices and the rate of change in percent from the previous year at constant prices. All data was prepared by Rosstat for the yearbook

Period and application
The data covers the period from 1946 to 2024 and is published in the Russian Statistical Yearbook 2025. Rosstat updates such long-term series to ensure statistical continuity. The information will be useful to economic historians, researchers of investment processes, and analysts studying the long-term dynamics of fixed capital development on a national scale over the last eight decades
