By the number of people who used hotels and other accommodation facilities, the scale of domestic and inbound tourism can be assessed. Thirty rows list different guest categories: total accommodated persons, number of Russian citizens and the share of children among them. Data are in thousands of persons and cover various types of accommodation objects included in the overall statistics

How to read this table

The rows allow comparison of the total visitor mass with the number of domestic tourists and children. The distinction between categories helps see the structure of hotel‑service consumers. The total number of accommodated persons is 21258.8 thousand, with the figure for Russian citizens equal to 19108.6 thousand

What is visible in these numbers

The table is 68% filled: Rosstat does not publish every cell, and the gaps are left as they are rather than interpolated.

Period and application

Data are taken from the Rosstat yearbook for 2025. The snapshot reflects the current situation by accommodation type without reference to time periods. The statistics are useful for assessing hotel market capacity and planning hospitality infrastructure
