Zoos in Russia: dynamics of number, area and animal population
From 2000 to 2023 the zoo network in the country changed, reflected in three indicators: total number of institutions, area of their territories in hectares, and total number of animals in individuals. The rows allow comparison of how the number of facilities grew and how the scale of their territories and animal populations changed. Data are presented annually for twenty‑four years and cover the whole country
