Average residential floor space per capita in Russia changed from 2000 to 2024. The data includes total floor space as well as separate figures for urban and rural areas. This allows for tracking the development of housing provision across different types of settlements over twenty-four years. The indicators cover the entire country and reflect the overall dynamics of the housing stock

Period and application

The statistics are published in the Russian Statistical Yearbook. The data covers the period from 2000 to 2024 and is suitable for analyzing housing policy and demographic processes. The information is regularly updated by Rosstat for use by specialized agencies and researchers
