In 2024, there were 2049.4 thousand foreign citizens in Russia with a valid patent for labor activity. The distribution of these individuals by age group is presented in the table, where data is grouped into categories ending with age 60 and older. The rows provide indicators for all foreign citizens as well as separately for nationals from CIS countries, including Azerbaijan, allowing for a comparison of employment structure by country of origin and age category

Different groups of foreign workers are listed in separate rows in this table, facilitating comparison between the total number of patent holders and data for citizens from CIS countries and specifically Azerbaijan. The age breakdown by columns shows which groups are most active in the labor market. For example, in the 60 years and older category, 20.8 thousand people were recorded across all countries, allowing for an assessment of the older generation's share among all valid patent holders

The statistics reflect the situation in 2024 and are useful for analyzing the composition of foreign labor resources. Data is taken from the 2025 Russian Statistical Yearbook. The materials will be of interest to demographers, economists, and labor market researchers studying migration processes and the professional structure of foreign workers in the country. Rosstat has prepared this breakdown to understand the age characteristics of migrants who have officially received work permits
