How to read this table

342 rows, reflecting both aggregate indicators and detailed data, facilitate the comparison of import volumes by various countries and commodity categories. Each row contains information on a specific product or group of products, allowing for a comparison of the share of non-CIS countries and CIS member states in the total import volume for the specified month. The share, presented in percent, makes it possible to identify the most significant partners in the supply structure of restricted goods and clearly see the distribution of imports by geographic zones

Period and application

January 2017 is the only period for this Rosstat data cut. Information on commodity flows and their geographic structure will be useful to foreign economic activity specialists and analysts tracking import substitution dynamics in the food sector. The data is presented in a highly detailed format for each commodity item, allowing for an assessment of the market status at the beginning of the year and the identification of the main sources of commodity flows under existing restrictions
