Fruits, berries and nuts: harvest in all categories of farms
This table presents the volumes of harvested fruits, berries, and nuts for 2020 and 2021. Rows are organized by administrative-territorial principle, including indicators for the Russian Federation as a whole, federal districts, and individual constituent entities, such as Belgorod Oblast. This allows for comparing horticulture productivity across different parts of the country, assessing the contribution of individual regions to the national harvest, and observing changes in harvest results over the two-year period
Chart of fruit, berry, and nut harvest by farm category in 2020 and 2021
Set in numbers
Rosstat data for 2020–2021. Rows: 327, periods: 2. Shown by items: RUSSIAN FEDERATION — value; RUSSIAN FEDERATION — Agricultural organisations; RUSSIAN FEDERATION — Household farms; RUSSIAN FEDERATION — Peasant (farm) households …; CENTRAL FEDERAL DISTRICT — value and others
RUSSIAN FEDERATION — value: the indicator grew from 1.5 million to 1.7 million in 2020–2021 — by 10.8%. Of the 25 largest rows, 17 increased, 8 decreased
All table numbers are series: 327
How to read this table
Row differences are determined by geographic coverage, with top rows aggregating data for the entire country and federal districts, while subsequent rows provide detail at the oblast level. Comparing these rows enables the identification of leading regions in fruit and berry production. Column values correspond to specific calendar years, facilitating the analysis of changes in gross harvest within selected territories over the short term
What is visible in these numbers
Five largest values: RUSSIAN FEDERATION — value (1.7 million), RUSSIAN FEDERATION — Agricultural organisations (1 million), RUSSIAN FEDERATION — Household farms (545 339), RUSSIAN FEDERATION — Peasant (farm) households (255 089), CENTRAL FEDERAL DISTRICT — value (233 074). The gap between the largest and smallest is 563 576 times. The top five account for 89.5% of the total across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
Observations are annual and cover 2 periods. Cells with numbers: 50 out of 50 (100%) — missing values are virtually absent

Period and application
The statistics cover the period from 2020 to 2021 and are useful for agronomists, agricultural market analysts, and representatives of relevant agencies to assess production dynamics. Data is based on official Rosstat information and reflects actual harvest indicators across all farm categories. Information is updated as new bulletins are released, helping to monitor the state of the agricultural sector in a current context
How it is calculated
This year’s harvest and livestock numbers determine next year’s procurement prices: processors need such rows earlier than supplier price lists
