Prior to 2015, data in the table are not provided for every year: 2000, 2005, 2010, and annually thereafter.

The number of births depends not only on family preferences but also on the number of women currently aged 25–35. The smaller generation of the 1990s has entered this age group, resulting in fewer births even at the same fertility rate.
