How to read this table

Volumes for the two years can be compared by looking at the figures for the country and for specific territories. The list highlights different administrative levels, from the entire Russian Federation down to the Central Federal District and Kursk Oblast. This makes it possible to see how hay harvest changed with region and scale of agricultural activity in particular subjects of the country. Each row shows the contribution of a specific territory to the total production of feed crops for livestock needs

What is visible in these numbers

The largest value belongs to “Central Federal District” — 1,000 million; the smallest is “Volga Federal District” at 3.8. The gap between them is 261.1 million-fold.

The table is 65% filled: Rosstat does not publish every cell, and the gaps are left as they are rather than interpolated.
