Gross harvest of major agricultural crops in all types of farms, 2020–2025
Cereals, pulses, and other main crops of the country are compiled into a single dataset for the period from 2020 to 2025. The rows in the list are categorized by crop type, allowing for the tracking of individual production volumes. The indicators reflect the total results of all farms in the Russian Federation, including private and large agribusinesses, for each reporting year

How to read this table
Production volumes can be compared by contrasting different crop types and years. The table contains 45 rows providing a detailed breakdown of the crop production structure, from cereals to fodder and vegetable crops. This enables analysis of the share of the gross harvest attributed to specific plant groups and how their contribution to total agriculture has changed over six years
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Cereal and leguminous crops _x000D_(in we… (157 614), Cereal and leguminous crops _x000D_(in we… (153 005), Cereal and leguminous crops _x000D_(in we… (104 233), Cereal and leguminous crops _x000D_(in we… (74 006), Oilseed seeds and fruits - total (in w… (53 137). The gap between the maximum and minimum is 26 735 times. The top five account for 74.4% of the total across all positions — the distribution is heavily skewed towards the top
Observations are annual, there are 6 periods in the set. Of 150 possible values, 150 (100%) are filled; there are practically no data gaps

Period and application
Annual harvest dynamics are available in electronic bulletins on the state of agriculture. The information is updated annually and covers all categories of farms across Russia. This data is useful for farmers, economists, and those analyzing food security and the state of crop production in the country
How it is calculated
Data on sowings, yields, and livestock are used for planning raw material procurement, crop estimation, and food price forecasting
