Gross harvest of grain crops: indicators by regions
The volume of grain harvested in 2021 and 2022 is presented here for each constituent entity of the country, including summary data for federal districts and the Russian Federation as a whole. The table contains 87 rows, allowing for a comparison of agricultural production results across different territories. The values reflect the gross harvest in thousand centners, covering two calendar years, which makes it possible to assess changes in yield at the level of individual regions, krais, and republics over the course of two seasons

How to read this table
Differences between rows are due to the administrative-territorial division, where each position corresponds to a specific region, district, or national indicator. Comparing the series helps to identify the contribution of a specific territory to the total volume of grain production. The statistics are grouped so that the user can easily compare 2021 data with 2022 results for any of the presented entities, identifying changes in harvest volumes for specific lands
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Russian Federation — All categories of farms (1.5 million), Southern Federal District — All categories of farms (403 643), Central Federal District — All categories of farms (380 058), Voronezh Region — All categories of farms (68 456), Kursk Region — All categories of farms (56 723).
