Share of households with access to additional housing
The share of households owning additional housing beyond their primary residence is presented for the period 2019–2023. Data are based on sample household budget surveys and reflect the situation at the end of each year in percent. Each row details the property type, such as an apartment, a room in a communal apartment, or a detached house, to show which type of secondary housing is most common among Russian families

How to read this table
Rows differ by the classification of additional real estate, enabling comparison of the prevalence of different building types over the years. This allows for a comparison between apartments or rooms and houses or parts of houses used as additional housing. The 'All households' row provides the total figure, while the remaining rows detail the structure of ownership, showing the distribution of housing types over the five-year period
