Producer and acquisition price indices for fuel and energy resources, 2017–2022
These annual indices track price changes for major fuel and energy resources from 2017 to 2022. The dataset contains twenty rows, providing two parameters for each resource: producer prices and purchase prices. This enables a comparison between resource costs at the shipment level and the consumer purchase level. The data covers a six-year period and reflects price dynamics in the industrial sector

Comparing producer prices with purchase prices reveals the difference between resource costs at shipment and at the point of actual purchase. For instance, both metrics are provided for coking coal and other coal types, allowing for an assessment of the gap between these two values throughout the period
