Age structure of fixed assets of organizations, 2017–2022
The distribution of fixed assets by periods of operation is presented in annual dynamics from 2017 to 2022. Table rows are grouped by asset age, such as buildings under 5 years, 5 to 10 years, and 10 to 15 years. This enables tracking the renewal rate of enterprises' property base. Data indicates that the share of buildings under 5 years old remained at 4 percent throughout the period

How to read this table
Differences between rows are based on asset ownership time intervals, helping to assess wear and tear and production modernization rates. By comparing groups, one can understand which part of fixed assets is at the beginning of its life cycle and which requires replacement. The data covers all organizations included in industrial production statistics and allows for analyzing the qualitative state of the material base
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Vehicles by age, years: — over 5 (35), Machinery and equipment1) by age, years: — over 5 (34), Buildings by age, years: — over 30 up to 50 (30), Vehicles by age, years: — up to 5 (25), Buildings by age, years: — Average building age (23). The gap between the highest and lowest is 11.7 times. The top five account for 38.2% of the total across all items
Observations are annual and cover 6 periods. Cells with numbers: 150 out of 150 (100%); data gaps are virtually absent
