One can observe the share of the total volume accounted for by farms in the Southern Federal District or the Republic of Crimea. Comparing the figures for the two years provides insight into how the area occupied by these crops changed during the period. All calculations are based on data regarding the actual use of agricultural land
What is visible in these numbers
The largest value belongs to “Центральный федеральный округ — хозяйства всех категорий” — 1,000 million; the smallest is “Rostov Region — all categories of households” at 0.017. The gap between them is 58.82 billion-fold.
The table is 90% filled: Rosstat does not publish every cell, and the gaps are left as they are rather than interpolated.
