Agricultural machinery written off due to wear and tear, 2018–2023

· dynamics annual · rows: 17 · periods: 6 · section: Bulletins on the state of agriculture (electronic versions)

During 2018–2023 the agricultural sector retired varying numbers of machines each year because of physical wear. Table rows separate equipment by type: tractors without earth‑working or reclamation attachments, tractors with mounted equipment, and roller combines. These distinctions show which categories are most frequently written off over the six‑year period. The data are annual, cover agriculture across Russia, and are published in Rosstat electronic bulletins on the state of agriculture

How to read this table

Different machine categories in the list allow comparison of retirement rates for specialized equipment and basic tractors. You can see how the number of written‑off units changes for each group, for example separately for combines or tractors with different configurations. This helps assess which part of the fleet needs replacement first due to accumulated wear

What is visible in these numbers

“Tractors (excluding tractors mounted with earth-moving, reclamation and other machines)” leads the table with 4,644, “Flax harvesters” closes it with 10. The gap between them is 464-fold.
